because our ancient brains are trying to protect us. They use beliefs as symbols of identity to sort safe ’Us’s from dangerous ’Them’s. When one of those beliefs clashes with what science says, our brains prioritize safety in numbers over the science. So how do we get unstuck?

Start with better disagreements. Freestyle Socials are an “undebate” game where disagreements make you laugh instead of lose faith in humanity. It’s rules reassure our ancient brains by using humour and surprise to turn dangerous ‘them’ into safe ‘us’.
